Chicago Blues harmonica player Big Golden Wheeler died on this day in 1998.
Wheeler began playing the harmonica while growing up in Georgia, but became
great when he moved to Chicago in the late 1950's.  A part the local Blues
scene for decades, his recording career didn't really begin until just a few
years before he died.

Birthday greetings go out to chromatic harmonica master "G", who was born on
this day in 1971.  Happy Birthday G!!!

The first copy of the first edition of  the Encyclopedia of the Harmonica
came off the presses five years ago today.  It has been recieved well and is
