A very important point to remember. Most of the folks that gravitate
toward the audio aspects of music are of a different sort than are the
musicians, just as are song writers, lawyers, producers, etc.. Though
they have a love for the music, what it is they here or enjoy is just as
variable as is an opinion as to what is good weather. Learn how to
describe what it is you want or don't want, in their terms muddy, thick,
thin, hollow, throaty, heavy, and so on. A sound guy is just as
interested in achieving quality sound as are the performers, and have to
deal with many variables and sometimes has to settle for, it'll do. Be
patient if you treat the sound guy badly you go way down the list of
priorities...Keith	P.S. The best sound guy I know is a lady.
