Re: TurboLids -- Well, I'm using them



I have a TurboHarp and five TurboLids. Basically a big
enough set to gig with. I like them for accoustic
playing. They are very loud and airtight, and so lend
themselves to hand effects.

The slightly larger body takes a little getting used
to, although this should present as little problem as
switching from a 270 to a CX12.

The colours make key selection easier, plus you don't
pick it up the wrong way as the lower end of the harp
is physically fatter.

I put Special 20s in 'em, which can either be replaced
or retuned if they flat out.
