Blues harmonica player Noah Lewis died on this day in 1961.  Lewis had been
playing professionally since around 1912 and did some of his best work with
Cannon's Jug Stompers during the 1920's and early 30's.  He continued to
play on and off until his death.

Country harmonica player Claud J. Moye, better known as Pie Plant Pete, died
on this day in 1988.  He began playing the harmonica at the age of sixteen
and was working in radio by the late 1920's.   He teamed up with Bashful
Harmonica Joe Troynan from 1936 until 1947 and continued to work for several
years after that.
