I had tickets to Sonny Rollins but I sold them to my boss, cause I have
the flu and all I've been doing since yesterday is barf'in my guts out.
This is day two but I still don't feel up to going out. I'm supposed to
sit in with Lonnie Brooks tomorrow during the second set(they only play two)
and I was asked to open with Groove Therapy(original members including
my buddy Biscuit--Lonnie's bass man) but I'll have to see how much energy I
have.

As for RJ...well, he's a decent harp player but somewhat of a bone-head.
I've tuned a few harps for him but haven't given them to him yet. I also
have one for you, but who knopws when I'll see you. I was stating to
think you were dead:) I have gained much more respect for RJ lately, his
playing isn't as simple as one might think. Yeah he's basic, but listen
to some of the things he does...I have heard him split the 2 and 9 draw G
and F. Some of his tongue flutters are outstanding.

Jeff? the guitarist right? What'd he have to say about me? If he is
who I think he is then I think he's a nice guy. Good player too, not
real flashy tho, but then again that's not his style. He's into that 50's
stuff, which I like for about an hour. Too much equipment is ok but too
little and you're in trouble. I always bring extra stuff to a show, ya
never know what's gonna happen.

A total bone head move, but that's him and that's why he and others
pay me money to fix/set-up their harps.

Mark June 24th on your calender. That's the day I'm having a huge bash
at my parents place. It's my wedding reception reception. I can't have
a band in Kenyon. Andy Bailey (Lamont Cranston keyboardist)and Jelly bean
Johnson(ex-guitarist for Prince's group the Time) will be there fronting the
band. Bring your harps as it will be a monster jam. I need your mailing
address to send you a formal invite. While you're at it could you please
give me fjm's mailing address, it seems as if I lost it, and I about a
month overdue in sending him a tape.

Also keep July 9th open. My harp friend JR is having a party in his blues
yard...I'm sure I've told you about it...Gary Primich is going to be
there(JR and Primich are buds) Also we are going to have Billy Branch
back there too, but not till aug.

When are you free next? I have sunday afternoon open...

Are you going to Lonnie's show? Maybe I'll see you there.

I think I have to puke some more.....:(

(I don't know but this may be the second time you see this, the sys
crashed as I sent you the last one and I had to rewrite it)
