Excellent points.  What I get out of this comment is - the music is more 
important than the individual.  And that's an important thing we need to 
keep in mind.  If simple stuff makes the song sound better, that's what 
we should do.

This reminds me of the story about the fellow who goes to a lousy 
tailor to have a suit made.  The suit is terrible, but the tailor tells 
the man to hunch his shoulder on one side - then to hitch his hip up on 
the other.  "There - now the suit fits perfectly!"

The guy leaves, and two gentlemen standing on the corner see him.  "Oh, 
that poor, deformed man!" exclaims one. The other says "Yes - but what a 
GREAT looking SUIT!"
