The copyright issue hadn't occrured to me earlier when I originally 
posted my message, so in that case it would have to be our own stuff 
which I'm sure is just as good though! ;-) This could kind of be a 
continuation of what we started a while ago when we were trying to put 
together the harp-l tape, except this time we could put it online.

.au files I believe are pretty much raw audio (??) files because under unix 
you can send them directly to the audio device without having a program 
inbetween to interpret them. I know under windows running mosaic or 
netscape all I did was click on .au files and it automatically played 
them through my soundblaster 16 no problem without calling an 
intermediate program like wav player or something. There are programs out 
there though that let you play saved .au files though but I don't know 
the name off hand.
