Another way to get the sound in your head and to get your mouth shaped right is
to take the covers off the blow plate and hold the blow reed steady while you
overblow the draw reed.  It's much easier.

I'm learning myself, I can do a decent 6 overblow on my old C Bluesband but I've
had nothing but squeals elsewhere.  I got the Howard Levy New Directions video
from Kevin's but won't have a change to watch it for a couple of weeks.  I'm
hoping it will help and will let you know, if someone else doesn't.

While I'm on.  Let me say that this is a great list.  I'm off to D.C. this
weekend on business and pleasure and probably won't have time to log on.  I
estimate having about 300 harp-l messages to catch up on when I get back!

Also, while I'm bending ears.  I saw Mark Hummel at a record release party
gig last night.  He has a new CD out.  I could only stay for the first set.
I'll leave intelligent criticism to others but I had a good time.
