harmonica list

I recently tried to subscribe to the harmonica mailing list by mailing to:
 
mxserver@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
 
and typing: subscribe "tim_wong"
 
Could someone tell me if this is the correct method for subscribing?  I am not
sure if it failed or nobody has sent mail to the list for a few days......
