Why Not Retune The SBS's Upper Range?

SBS Specialists,

However naive it may seem (I'm no theory buff), I want to pose a
question:

Why not retune the upper range of the SBS, from the eighth hole up, in
the same pattern as holes 2 through 8?

Winslow's Schematic:

SBS in C: | |
                 | |
     __1___2___3_|_4___5___6___7___8___9___10__11__12__13|_14_
DRAW | D | G | B | D | G | B | D | F | A | B | D | F | A | B |
     =========================================================
BLOW | C | E | G | C | E | G | C | E | G | C | E | G | C | E |
     ---------------------------------------------------------

I know it would be unfamiliar (unlike a Marine Band tuning), but with
so many alternate tunings already making memorization a necessity, why
would this not be desirable?
I find I can run some melody lines from the "Marine Band" octave of
the SBS into the lower or "bass" three holes/six notes more or less
seamlessly. Why could I not do so at the top?
When I first heard of the SBS, before I saw a schematic, I thought
this might be the setup. When I found that it wasn't, I bought one anyway,
and I find the SBS to be a really good addition to my harp arsenal. But
still I wonder why this would not be a good modification. I guess any good
harp mechanic could make the change. Right? If so, who?
