Re: Primal harp?



My Dad pulled a curved-plate Hohner Echo out of a rubble heap in Munich
in the summer of 1945 and brought it home for me. But since I was only 2
years old, he didn't give it to me right away - only showed it to me and
promised to hand it over when I was big enough for it. That elicited an
intense fascination with harmonicas which has persisted for damn near
half a century. Oh - I was officially "big enough" at about age 4. Of
course I ruined the harmonica. But I still have what's left of it.

BTW, GJM: I also combine trombone and harp. There's another similarity.
You can bend the heck out of a note on the bone!
