I think of third position as based on the 456 draw chord- the minor II
chord of the first position key. (A harp- 2nd position E, 3rd position Bm)
This is a really cool position, especially for Popper-type licks(But
Anyway, Gina, that sort of thing) I found it when I started moving into
the second octave, and realized that there was a whole new thing happening
there. Now I'm working on that top end... :-)
