When a song is said to be in a certain key, that refers to the overall pitch and
mood, or feeling of the song. But when you play the song, you actually change
keys every time the chord changes. Generally, the various chords in a song will
all convey the feeling of the predominant key, because they mostly contain notes
found in that key's scale.

Don't take my word for it, though. Phil Duncan and Charlie Musselwhite write
about it in Chapter 5 of "Power Harp." (That's (c)1990 Mel Bay Publications,
ISBN 0-87166-850-5, Simon. Also available is a cassette, ISBN 0-87166-794-0.)
