about
Jon Gindick, who, much to his own surprise, has made a living off of
harmonica books.  He wrote the book "Country and Blues Harmonica for the
Musically Hopeless" published by Klutz Press.  Notes from the article:

Gindick avoided selection by the military by playing the harmonica during
his draft board physical.

Hohner, based in Richmond (VA?), sells about 1 million harmonicas a year.

Playing while driving is mentioned in the article.
